How to Bet The Pick 6

It takes more then a heartfelt smile in order to win the pick 6. One of the first things any bettor must do is to pick up the Daily Racing Forum. There is no way to make a proper bet without analyzing the track times of the horses that a potential pick 6 winner will bet on. You have to go through each race and take into account how each horse has performed in its last few outings. Some horses run such poor times that you can easily discount them from winning. I tend to use computer software such as the Smart Bet Wizard. It helps me to sort out contenders from losers. That is the biggest part of picking the correct horses in the pick 6. If you can’t sort out the contenders from the losers you will never be able to be successful betting the pick 6.

Another thing someone should take into account is the condition of horses. Thoroughbred race horses are just like any other athletes. If they are out of form or in otherwise poor condition there is no way that they will win the race. All horse racing tracks distribute condition books. They are indispensable when computing the pick 6. Anyone who says that you can figure out the pick six without a condition book is pulling your leg.

More then anything else preparation is the key. In order to bet the pick 6 and bet successfully you have to prepare. You have to get all your information more then a day in advance. You will be analyzing dozens of horses so you have to go through all of their pace lines carefully. You have to cross reference the information you are looking through in the Daily Racing Forum with the information that’s in the condition books. You have to take the appropriate information and run it through the Smart Bet Wizard. If you work hard and take your time you should be able to hit the pick 6.
